Microsoft Windows 2.0 vintage computer software. This very early version of Windows, released in 1987, was not yet an actual operating system, but rather a separate program that ran on top of DOS. Very scarce these days, making it a great collector's item for vintage computer enthusiasts.
I have the original envelope (turn open) containing 9 floppy disks (5.25"). Disks 1-8 are labeled "Presentation Manager" which was the name of Microsoft's graphical user interface in early versions of Windows. There is a Setup Disk, Build Disk, Displays Disk, Utilities 1 & 2 Disks, Fonts 1 & 2 Disks, Desktop Applications Disk, and a Program Disk for Windows Write (word processor). Also includes a quick reference guide for the software.
Unfortunately I don't have a working 5.25" drive so I have no means of testing the disks. They are being sold as-is.
I couldn't find any information on what something like this typically goes for, so I took a wild guess. I am always open to lower offers. If on the other hand I've listed it insanely cheap, feel free to take the bargain and run.
Free insured shipping anywhere in the U.S. International shipping will vary depending on the destination; please ask if interested.
I welcome lower offers, especially if you are buying multiple items at once. To make a lower offer, add the item(s) to your cart and on the checkout page you will be given the option to name your own price. (If you are not seeing this option, it may be because your state requires sales tax. Bonanza is working on a fix for this issue, but you can also send me a direct message with your offer.)
