This is a gorgeous vintage ribbon or bow brooch/pin painted in lustrous black enamel. It is accented with hand painted flowers in pinks and green. The edges of the bow are highlighted with gold paint that makes a striking contrast against the black. The back is a textured gold tone metal. This is from the 1960s, it is unsigned, but obviously a quality piece.

It is in excellent vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged pictures, and measures approximately 2 1/2 inches wide and 2 inches tall. It has a secure safety catch on the back, the pin is curved to adapt to the curved back of the pin (see pictures) and sits nicely when pinned to clothing.

This simple and feminine brooch would make a wonderful addition to your wardrobe. It will look elegant on that little black dress and perfect with your favorite pair of jeans. Just the right touch for the Spring season.
