this is a William Adolphe Lambrecht (1876-1940) vintage oval etching with mat on board. it is pencil signed by Lambrecht, stamped and numbered. from the 1930's
Signature on the right margin; Triangular stamp with number 44 in pencil in the border on the left bottom.
There is an embossed stamp in the middle center but cannot make it out. see photos.
Color scene of well dressed ladies in oversized gowns in the foreground sitting on a bench with ladies in yellow dresses standing in the background with gentlemen in the garden. party in the back on right rear. image in VG+ condition. mat is original but detached from the print. image is 15 1/2" x 18 1/4" mat is 25 1/2" x 21 1/2'" I will package securely ship with the US Post Office and add tracking. International priority mail for tracking and insurance purposes. |
