The FLAMIN' GROOVIES is an American rock music band whose peak was in the 1960s and 1970s. They began in San Francisco in 1965, founded by Cyril Jordan and Roy Loney. The Group is one of the forerunners of punk rock and had a major influence on the power pop genre.
A major influence to the 1970's punk movement, RAMONES, an American punk rock band formed New York City 1974 and disbanded 1996.
This 5-1/4" x 3-3/4" postcard is a 40th Anniversary tribute to their classic debut album, RAMONES with a release of a deluxe edition: 3 CD /1 LP boxed set.
By 2014, all 4 of the band's original members, lead singer Joey Ramone, guitarist Jonny Ramone, bassist Dee Dee Ramone, and drummer Tommy Ramone had died.
