Compatible with any watch:

Best Tech Tool (BTTT) adapters are compatible with almost any watch such as Apple watch, Garmin, Fitbit, or any other watches that have standard bands.

Apple Watch: Compatible with all generations of Apple watch with 38mm and 42mm face. Select the appropriate adapter based on:

  • Size of your Apple watch
  • The color of Leatherman bracelet
  • The version of the bracelet (Tread or Tread LT)

Garmin: BestTechTool (BTT) adapters have different designs for almost all Garmin watches. Please search on Amazon.com for BestTechTool Leatherman Garmin watch adapter to see all designs and variations.

 

Standard sizes:

 

BTT Adapters are designed for watches with different Lug width (band sizes) as follows:

  • 16mm
  • 18mm
  • 20mm
  • 22mm
  • 24mm
  • 26mm

If your watch has an odd-numbered lug width, such as 19mm, 21mm, or 23mm, you can buy the next size down.

Note: To ensure the compatibility and ease of installation, the lug width of BTT adapters is designed 0.5mm smaller than the lug width of watches. For example, for a watch with 26mm lug width, BTT adapters have a lug width of 25.5mm.

 

Not compatible with:

 

Best Tech Tool (BTT) adapters are not compatible with:

  • Watches with curved spring bars.
  • Not compatible with center-lug watches such as G-Shock GA1000 and GW3000B.
  • Not compatible with counterfeit TREAD / TREAD LT.

How measure the Lug Width of your watch?

 

You can measure the lug width of your watch with a ruler as shown in the picture. Also, you can Google your watch to find the lug width (band size) for your watch.

 

If your watch has an odd-numbered lug width (band size), such as 19mm, 21mm, or 23mm, you can buy the next size down.

The package contains the following items:
 

  • A pair of BTT adapters from BestTechTool
  • Apple watch adapters or watch spring bars
  • Watch spring bar tool or screwdrivers for Garmin watches

So, you can easily change your watch band with Leatherman Tread OR Tread LT strap!

Note 1: the image shows the sample packages for three different product variations (Apple watch, Garmin, and BTT adapter for lug width 24mm).

Note 2:  generic spring bars and spring bar tool OR screwdrivers are included in the package. However, it is recommended that you use the original spring bars of your watch if they fit the BTT adapters.
 

Note 3: Watch and Leatherman TREAD / TREAD LT are not included.
 

For installation follow these steps:

  1. Use the pin removal tool to remove the spring bars from your watch band.
  2. In the box, there are two pairs of spring bars. The length of one pair is 1mm smaller than the other pair. It is recommended that you compare the length of the spring bars with the original spring bars of your watch and choose the one that best fits your watch. Save the extra pair for future. Note: If you bought BTT adapters for Apple watch, there is a pair of Apple watch adapters.
  3. Put the selected spring bars in BTT adapters. Both BTT adapters are identical.
  4. Use the pin tool to install BTT adapters to your watch. (Don’t connect your Leatherman Tread to the adapters before you attach the adapters to the watch.)
  5. Size your Leatherman Tread / Tread LT based on your wrist and size of watch and adapters. Remove extra links from Tread.
  6. Connect your Tread / Tread LT to the adapters with the original screws of Tread.


Important points:

  1. Attach the BTT adapters to your watch before you connect them to Leatherman Tread/Tread LT.
  2. For Apple watch: the side of the connector with three black parts is for the face of Apple watch and the side with two black parts is for the back of Apple watch.
