These two films feature a romantic Elizabeth Taylor with leading men Spencer Tracy and Richard Burton. Although Stanley Banks (Spencer Tracy) hopes for some peace and quiet now that his daughter, Kitten (Elizabeth Taylor) has been married off, he soon learns he is in for more chaos as an expectant grandfather. DIVORCE HIS DIVORCE HERS describes a couple, married for almost twenty years, who find themselves on the verge of divorce. The film is cut into two parts, each telling the story from the individual partner's perspective.
