Vintage hand carved African book end depicting an antelope grazing in the Savannah with "Gye Nyame" Symbol inscribed on it. Revered as one of the highest Akan spiritual symbols, Gye Nyame is a native Akan Traditional symbol which translates as "I fear None Except God", symbol of the omnipotence of God. This can be placed at placed at the end of a row of books to keep them upright. Ideal for home, school, public and office libraries.
