The 1966 BSA Spitfire Mark II was the first of the three A65 years that the Spitfire was produced from 1966 to 1968. The Spitfire was considered the 'hotrod' of all of the various BSA models. In 1966 it was tested and advertised as having a top speed of 120 MPH right out of the crate; a speed generally considered unobtainable by production street motorcycles of the time. The 1966 came with Amal T10 GP2 carbs.
You can own a Spitfire Mark II t-shirt with the tank top design on the back. The winged BSA logo is printed black on the front left chest.
The shirts are 6.1 oz. (heavy) 100% preshrunk cotton. Far heavier than other 4.3 oz. shirts being sold. 6.0 to 6.4 oz. are the heaviest t-shirts available.
