This is a neat item-- it's a 1921 yearbook "The Index" from Illinois State Normal University! Located in Normal, Illinois, this is now Illinois State University. Old yearbooks / annuals are excellent genealogy research materials.

The book is in good condition considering its age. There is some wear to the cover corners and along the spine as can be seen in photos. Although none of the pages are stuck together or show any evidence of ever being stuck together, there is water mark/evidence on the upper portion of the pages (also seen in photos). It doesn't have a musty odor/smell from water, just has a light old book smell that old books have. There are 242 pages and there are no autographs or writing in the book.

I have posted several photos for your review.

Also included at no charge (not shown in photo) is a postcard that I came across in a lot purchase of postcards at an estate sale in Indiana. This postcard shows a building designated as “I.S.N.U. Gymnasium, Normal, Ill.” It has handwritten along top border/edge “Have one of my classes in this building.” I can’t make out the month and day postmark but the year of 1920 is very clear. It has a 1 cent stamp that has a couple very faint cancel marks.

Please note: listed shipping is a best guess estimate. I refund all overages above $2.00 whether it is a single item purchase or multiple items in a single transaction.
