Synopsis: Bessie King and Dolly Ransom are on a camping trip with the group of Manasquan Camp Fire Girls, and their leader, Eleanor Mercer.
    While camped at Long Lake, Bessie and Dolly wander into a gypsy encampment. Later Dolly is kidnapped by one of the gypsy men and Bessie enlists his bride, Lolla, to help her rescue Dolly.
    Resenting the claims of a group of boy scouts that girls cannot be as proficient in sports as boys, the campfire girls meet the troop of boys in competition, and surprise all concerned.
    Between adventures, the girls enjoy outdoor life, entering into the ceremonials and activities of their organization.
