This novel is great fun for both mystery and science fiction readers. It has a locked room murder, themes of teleportation, invisibility and the Fourth Dimension and thinly-disguised sf legends among the suspects. The book was selected for the "Haycroft-Queen Definitive Library of Detective-Crime-Mystery Fiction". Some general cover wear; the first two pages are torn at the spine at bottom; small pencil writing on the first page and a name label on the title page; the rest of the pages are okay (though tanned) and the book is square and tight.
