This is a wonderfully unique vintage necklace made from yellow/orange overlapping 2 hole buttons that are strung together and accented with tiny beads. I don’t know if the material is plastic, Acrylic, Celluloid or Lucite The necklace seems to change in color from yellow to orange depending on the light. The necklace is reversible and has two different designs. One side has three (3) small glass or plastic beads, and the other side has one (1) iridescent or Aurora Borealis lavender pressed glass flower bead in the center of each button. It measures approximately 34 inches in length if it could be opened end to end, but it does not have any kind of a clasp, it goes over the head. Each button measures a little less than ½ of an inch in diameter.
It is in great vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. There is very little wear, if any. I looked at all the buttons and beads, and did not see any damage or missing beads. Please look carefully at the enlarged photographs as they are part of the description and show the details better than I can describe.
This would look great with all of your Autumn and Fall colors as well as Spring and Summer. It is a fun necklace that is sure to be commented on. It will be a terrific conversation starter.
