ORIGINAL BLACK AND WHITE MATTED AND FRAMED PHOTOGRAPH. Part of a Lewiston-Auburn, Maine Rotary Club activities collection from the early 1960s. Scene depicts a group of individuals in "fancy dress" as clowns, marching band girls, a shiek, a geisha, and a man in colonial dress with a powdered wig. A label on the outside glass (not on the photo itself) reads, "Mardi-Gras, Babe Desjardins Creation, 3/3/62." This original photograph was professionally matted and framed for the club or a club member by Gordon's Hobby House of Lewiston, whose gold foil sticker is affixed to the reverse side. It is equipped with a hook on the back for hanging. Measures 13.25" x 12" including frame. It is in excellent condition.
