Titled Braving the Storm, this collectible was issued in 1985 and is made of pottery. It features a simple cylindrical shape with a generous handle that extends from the side. The white base is the perfect palette for the rich illustration that is emblazoned across the side. The fisherman stands at the helm of the ship, waves crashing around him as he grabs the wheel. The scene almost seems to come to life before your eyes! Gold lining around the top and bottom of the cup give the ensemble an added spark of brilliance. A short poem about the painting is on the other side, presented by the Norman Rockwell Museum.

This collectible comes in great condition and is free of any cracks or chips. Although the bottom of the mug shows slight signs of wear it is otherwise beautifully preserved. Savor the vintage character of Norman Rockwell again and again!

Returns will be accepted only in the event that the item is not received in the condition described in our auction. Item must be returned in the condition it was received by the buyer. Refunds will be made after item is received and inspected by a member of the TGL Direct staff. Custom Items are non returnable.

Customer is responsible for return shipping cost. Items that are over 50 Dollars are subject to a 10% re-stocking fee. Items must be returned within 14 days of receiving the item. For this reason be sure to inspect your items upon receiving them.

To return an item you must message requesting a return. Be sure to list reason for return and any other pertinent information. We will then send you an email with an RMA # as well as shipping instructions for the return.
