This is an A. C. Gilbert 8 1/2 Erector Set from the 1950's. You get everything shown in the pictures. There is no motor as you can see. I know all the pieces are not there but the kit could be completed and expanded by looking around on the internet as I saw a lot of small sells with several pieces of this kit in it. I think some are parting them out to get more money for them. I included enough pictures that you should be able to see pretty much what is in this set. Please use the pictures to judge for yourself what condition this set is in. The rivet in the back ...you can see in the above picture...is loose and the lid isn't attached there ...I think it could be pretty easily fixed. One of the little metal tabs that you use to keep it shut in the front is also missing.
