This pair of Chalk Ware decorative fruit wall pieces were quite common during the 1950’s - 1960’s and into the early 1970’s and are getting harder to find for collectors that have specific tastes in style and type. I believe these to be a pair from the early 1960’s showing some patina on the paint due to age; much more on the Plum piece than on the Apple one.
They show original paint and hangers on the back. The staples are from when they used to staple it in the box so that it wouldn’t shift and break during shipping and handling to the stores. No chips other than some bubble pops and some fold marks on the back from the molding process. This pair is in excellent condition. Many of these types of chalk ware were made from the Miller Studios, but this pair does not show a maker’s mark.
Selling “As Is – As Found” with No Warranties implied.
