A Big Little Book Popeye in Deep Sea Danger

The first page has the single word "Popeye" followed by a blank page, then the title page. Each page of the story is opposite a cartoon drawing, (we tried to scan a two-page spread, but was unable to lay the book completely flat (see photos), so there is a dark shadow down the middle of the scan).

CONDITION: Unread. Spine and pages are tight. Front cover is missing the tip of the top right corner. The bottom right corner tip is creased, and along the bottom left edge it looks as though there might have been a sticker or something removed, which took a portion of the cover with it.
The back cover bottom left and top tip of the corners are missing, and there is a small tear along the top edge.
Both front and back covers show signs of scuffing and wear, but all the inside pages are clean (other than slight age discoloration), and not torn or marked.
