For your consideration, here is a WWII USS Franklin CV-13 Printed Thank You Note to Puget Sound Navy Yard personnel, following repairs. It was in the Puget Sound Navy Yard, in 1944. Inside, it shows the war record and comments from the captain on the left. On the right, it shows part of the crew.

It measures 5 1/8 by 4 inches, unfolded. It was in a scrapbook and has some glue remains and missing paper on the back. The "FRA" is blotted out, in FRANKLIN at the bottom, of the captain's comments. It will be mailed in a bubble mailer with foam core stiffeners. Item pictured is the actual item up for sale and comes from a non-smoking household. (214.978h-.3bb)
