11 ½ x 8 ½ Platter with Birds and Fans

Made in the Philippines

Marked MCMXCI… and fades out but appears to be early 1990s

Great SPRING AND SUMMER COLOR

With a splash of Oriental design!

This tray has 4 panels of brown, blue and dark eggplant embossed colored birds in a groups of 2 that measure approx 3 ½” long

The center medallion is in a cobalt blue with an typical Asian grid design

Each panel is connected by embossed tree branches and flower blossoms that intertwine across all surfaces including the raised dividers that look similar to a fan

The title of the piece is called MAJOLICA and it is done in 

the majolica style glaze

The paint is vibrant and glaze on the front shows no signs of crazing

No chips or nicks with minor crazing on the backside

A very colorful and fun piece, perfect for summer and spring events.

Works well with many solid color dinnerware

Recommend hand washing and wipe with soft cloth
