The Handle Assembly is a crucial Replacement Part, designed specifically for use with GE microwaves. The handle enables you to open and close the microwave door smoothly and securely. Due to the fact that the screws attaching the handle to the door are hidden behind the inner door panel, it's necessary to separate the door panels to access these screws when replacing the handle. Please note that screws are not included with the handle. It is recommended to use your screws for installation. resulting in a design change whereby the handle now slightly protrudes from the microwave door.
