COLINETTE BANYAN: Per Colinette: I'll never forget the first time I came upon a banyan tree in Sarasota Florida. The amazing structure continued on for an entire block, creating and dropping new branches to morph into roots. These entwined strands created a magical environment in which one could get lost. Drawing inspiration from this impressive natural architecture we created our 50g skein that turns multiple strands of viscose and bamboo into a soft double knit weight. Under closer inspection one observes how Banyan mimics the structure of its namesake across the 102m/111yd length. The fiber content is especially well suited for warm weather garment construction.

A quick FYI – this yarn was purchased with the full intent of me
personally knitting something beautiful with it. Over the last few
years, I realized that I do not knit quickly, and all of my knitting fantasies
will not fulfilled in a single lifetime. So, I made the painful
decision to de-stash. It is bit personal for me, which makes it
different than the clothing I sell. I love and cherish this yarn (as only
another fiber lover will fully understand)!
