TILSO Japan Hand Painted Fruit Tea Coffee Pot with Sugar & Cruets - Vintage - Mid Century Modern. These are numbered - the Sugar is #26 out of 54 produced - the Tea/Coffee Pot is #25 out of 54. No numbers on the Cruet set. All have a "Hand Painted TILSO JAPAN" label on the bottom except the 2 Cruets. The two cruets have JAPAN in red printed on the bottom. The pattern is mainly fruit such as pears, apples, bananas, grapes, etc. all mixed with a basket weave in the background. The Cruets both have the fruit but more basket style with a handle on each. The lids of the creamer, tea pot and salt & pepper all have what appears to be an apple on top. See Photos! This is a rare vintage set!
Measurements are approximately: Tea Pot 7.5 inches tall & 3 inches in diameter at the top & 3.25 inches in diameter at the bottom but gets larger in the middle. The cruets are 4.5 inches tall. The Sugar measures approximately 4 inches tall and 3 inches in diameter at the top.
Excellent Preowned Condition - no chips or cracks - there is some crazing going on which is expected in vintage ceramic pieces such as these. One of the small cruets has a white spot on it, not big. No creamer with this set.
