Intriguing brutalist hanging wall sculpture.  Measures approx 26.5 inches wide by approx 13.5 inches top to bottom.  It measures approx 2.75 inches deep, but there is a hanging wooden bracket attached to the back that is another 3/4 inches deep, so hanging it would be approx 3.5 inches deep.

The construction appears to be letter and number blocks attached to a backing board and then stained and a hanging wooden block attached to the back to allow for wall hanging.  The backing board looks like some kind of composite board.  That is my best estimate of the construction.  Please inspect the photos and ask any questions.

I have been unable to find another piece like this one, so it appears that it is a custom piece, not a mass produced piece.  I don't see a signature but you might be able to find some kind of identifying marks.  It was purchased in very rural south Louisiana.

It is a very interesting piece in the style of a number of brutalist artists, but appears to be more folk art/primitive in origin.

The way it is shown in the first picture is the way it was designed to hang.  Some other photos may show it upside down just so you can see all areas of it.

Buyer to pay shipping.  I will package carefully in a box and ship promptly.  The piece weighs a few ounces over 4 pounds before packaging.
