If you enjoy world music and female vocalists, you'll find this a really interesting collection. A few of these women are major international stars -- among them the American indie sensation Feist, the Brazilian Bebel Gilberto (daughter of bossa nova founder João Gilberto), the Italian-French Carla Bruni (wife of French President Nicolas Sarkozy), and the British neo-soul singers Corinne Bailey Rae and Alice Russell. Many of the recording artists represented are hyphenated lesser-knowns, but they are no less deserving of attention: Lila Downs (Mexican-American), Marta Topferova (Czech-Spanish), Keren Ann (Israeli-Dutch), Ayo (Nigerian-German), and Maria de Barros (Senegalese-Cape-Verdean). The remaining performers include El Perro del Mar (aka Sarah Assbring) from Sweden, Juana Molina from Argentina, Bebe from Spain, Ana Moura from Portugal, Sia from Australia, and the American group Si*Sé (with lead vocals by Carol C).

CD Condition	A near perfect, rarely-played CD. CD looks clean with no visible scratches, scuffs or other marks. There may be the odd light mark only visible under a bright light. Digipak in excellent condition, minor shelf wear.

Many of the CD's were purchased over the years from used CD stores which may have polished or buffed the CD's to look like new. For most of them I am unable to tell which ones have been polished as they look like new to me.

Like New 10/10	CD looks like it was just taken out of wrapping. May have been played once or twice. No visible marks or wear.	Artwork – Booklet and liner page perfect
Excellent 9/10 - VG++	CD played a couple of times – with a few micro-scratches or micro- scuffs that are hard to see unless under bright light.	Artwork – Booklet and liner page may have minor wear and imperfections.
Very Good Plus 8/10 - VG+	Used CD in very good plus condition. Shows some signs of being played – some very (minor) light scratches and scuffs on CD. Plays without skipping.	Artwork – Booklets very good (minor wear) unless indicated. May have jewel case imprints. May have cut out or punch hole on back page. This will be noted.

All CD’s come in a plastic jewel case that was not broken or cracked when sent to you. I take care and put it between cardboard and in a bubble envelope. However, depending on the postal worker, jewel cases can get broken. They are cheap to replace, about 40 cents each. If your CD jewel case arrives broken please do not hold it against me. Thank you.
