The Black Cobra pepper is a medium-sized chili pepper that originates from India. It has a relatively high Scoville rating, ranging from 30,000 to 50,000 units, which puts it in the medium heat category.
 
The plant typically takes around 90-100 days to mature, and can grow to a height of up to 2-3 feet (60-90 cm) tall. The fruits of the Black Cobra pepper are long and slender, growing to around 3-4 inches (7.5-10 cm) in length, and they have a dark green to black color when they are immature, and a deep red to brown color when they are fully ripe.
 
In terms of flavor, the Black Cobra pepper has a smoky, slightly sweet taste, with a moderate heat that lingers on the tongue. The heat level is similar to that of a jalapeño pepper, but with a unique flavor profile that sets it apart.
 
Overall, the Black Cobra pepper is a flavorful and moderately spicy chili pepper that can be used in a wide range of dishes, including sauces, marinades, and stews.
Start indoors 10-14 weeks prior to last frost. Transplant to 4 inch pots when true leaves appear. Requires hardening. Transplant seedlings 24-36 inches apart in well-draining loamy soil. Water regularly. Harvest peppers with gloves when deep red and wrinkled

Some items are shipped without tracking to keep costs low. This is  the most economical option. Canada Post is incredibly reliable, but can be slow.
