For your consideration is a January 10, 1969 special issue of the incredible year of 1968 from Life Magazine.  This has 103 pages of news from 1968 including a photo of earth from Apollo 8.  This is well read and has bent pages and some water staining, however still great reading.  Ads feature new products and fashion of the day.
