I am unsure of the material. It's hard, and I'm leaning toward a painted metal. The white bottom is plastic. 

Condition: Some marks on lamp. Neck is crooked/leaning/bent. Some marks on bottom. A lot of wear to sticker on the bottom. Significant red staining, along with some other lighter marks, on cord and plug.
