For sale is a lot of Westinghouse push in sockets for salvage. These are early sockets, among the first electric sockets on the market in the 1890s.
The lot is for parts and/or salvage. It consists of a brass shell with corrosion/electrical short damage, and a cap with an interior strap and two screw holes. The socket itself is largely intact but has burn-through on some of the brass clips. The paddle turns feely and clicks nicely. Missing one cap screw and the set screw. The lamp pipe nozzle is bent inward, but could be straightened easily enough.
Another socket is intact with only minor corrosion damage to a couple of clips; this is missing a shell. Its paddle also works fine. The third socket has burn through damage to three of the eight brass clips and is missing the neutral screw connector. Paddle works fine.
We have 5 complete Westinghouse sockets; listed separately. Also have 2 other Westinghouse sockets that are complete with minor corrosion damage. Please see our other listings.
