This hand-painted decorative box with lid is a beautiful addition to any collection. It is not completely finished, however (read on.) The intricate design features flowers and trees in the Norwegian rosemaling folk art painting style. Measuring 6 x 9.5 x 8 inches, it is the perfect size for storing stationery or other small items. Inside there is a place to store pens as well as space for cards and stationery. On the lid, there is a framed area to place a photo or add the decoration of your choice. The lid is not attached, but 2 hinge pegs are included (inside a plastic bag, attached under the lid.) The floral design on the lid is finished, but some of the painting on the sides is not, and some drawing lines can be seen. Someone who can paint may be able to finish it.
