True vintage dark blue full dress slip gown nightgown has lace straps and lace around the neckline, front and back. The bra area has gathers underneath the cups for fullness and is fitted underneath the cups. The hem has lace all the way around. The fabric feels like Rayon but there is no tag so it could be something else. This is a high quality vintage piece of lingerie and the tag was removed but you can see where it was on the inside side seam. Estimate this is from the 1940s by the style and fabric. Very feminine and mid-century glam. A perfect addition to any mid-century lingerie collection.

*Note: some photos were taken with flash, making the slip look more of a navy or sapphire blue...it is dark blue, closer to the color in the photos taken without flash. In some light it looks black.

Condition is wonderful. Consistent with age and light, gentle use, this has been well cared for over the years and is nicely preserved. No issues were noted. 

Measurements were taken with garment laying flat and measured side to side. Please take a few minutes to measure a similar garment you already own that fits you well, and compare those measurements to the measurements given to insure proper fit. Bust measures about 19 inches across under arms and across the bra area

Hips are about 19-20 inches across, depending on where I measure

Length from top of lace shoulder strap to hem is about 46 inches.
