Nike quality with reflective "Swoosh" accent on the left sleeve cuff end that increase your visibility when auto headlights are coming your way (see the photos with/without flash to see the effect). This shirt is "like new" but came without tags or packaging, but was dispensed in a nylon race goody bag.

This race, held annually in Lynchburg, TN is characterized by a massive hill in the first quarter of the race, and then mostly downhill for the remainder of the 13.1 miles total.

Held in a "dry county" in TN, the post race festivities do not include anything stronger than lemonade, although classic home made "Hoe Cakes" are available and quite delicious.

Sponsored by the Jack Daniel's distillery, which is the major employer of the town, for which Lynchburg (population of around 6,500) is internationally known, is in a dry county. This fact prohibits sale of the famous beverage. However, the State of Tennessee legislature, in their wisdom, declared the gift shop on site to be allowed to sell "commemorative bottles" of the whiskey.

We have run the race 7 times, and were awarded a commemorative Old No. 7 jacket!
