Description

This is a sweet little Hummel "Goose Girl" figurine.
By Goebel W. Germany
Handpainted. There is a tiny "Ta" signature on the bottom - perhaps the painter?
This was in my grandmother's estate. A friend brought it back from a trip to Germany, and gifted it to my grandmother. She cherished it, and it was displayed on a curio shelf in her living room for as long as I can remember, starting in the early 1960s.
Signed Hummel on the base at the back.
I love her traditional clothes, clogs, and her kerchief with one pigtail escaping! Very sweet.
There are numbers incised on the bottom - looks like 47 and 3/0   (somewhat hard to read)
About 4" tall.
CONDITION
In excellent condition with no damage save for some unnoticeable light crazing on the edge of the base and on the bottom.
From a smoke-free home.

I've saved it all these years for sentimental reasons, but I need to downsize. I hope she finds a loving home.
