This is a fabulous piece of Mexican folk art imported from Mexico City, where it was made by Manuel Baumen. It’s a delightful tin shrine with a reverse glass painting of the luchadore wrestler Blue Demon as Saint Francis holding doves. The decorated doors that open and close have additional images of the Blue Demon in action!
