Important: Our wood is generally kiln-dried, but it can still happen, especially during the heating season, that the wood needs to be reworked and may become damaged. Stress cracks form in the wood. This can never be ruled out, especially with large objects made from just one piece of wood. This is simply a natural feature of solid wood.
If this is not acceptable for you, we recommend items made of plastic, glued wood or pressboard.Please note that the product images are for example purposes only! Due to their unique nature, each item differs in shape, colour and grain.
Small indentations, discolorations, cracks or scratches are not uncommon in these natural items. Wood is a living material, has grown naturally and therefore continues to develop somewhat. All items are handmade, so there may be small errors in the item, uneven surfaces, etc. normal deviations.

The agony of choice
The appearance of many of our items can vary greatly. The article picture is always just an example, as unfortunately it is not possible for us to photograph each article individually in studio quality. Would you like a specific item? No problem, just write to us and we will be happy to send you some pictures of our current stock. We are also happy to accommodate your wishes and specifically look for an article that meets your requirements.
You can see how much an article deviates from the article image under the product dimensions on a scale from "no" deviation to "strong" deviation.
Each piece is unique
Wood is alive, and you can see it. Each item has its own color spectrum, hard or soft color changes, knotholes, cracks, notches or similar. These small differences make each item unique and create a natural, original atmosphere. Deviations from the specified dimensions are possible. These deviations do not constitute grounds for complaint. The shape of the individual items (especially Root Wood ) can also vary greatly; please keep this in mind when ordering.
Please note that wood is a living material. Especially in the cold season, we recommend that you let the piece of furniture acclimatize for a few days in a slightly warm room (e.g. bedroom) before setting it up at its destination. This is how you prevent cracks in the wood. Particularly dry air (e.g. in rooms heated by a fireplace) can also lead to cracks in the wood. The optimal room humidity for solid wood is between 60 and 70%. Cracks that appear in winter usually close almost completely again over spring and summer.

For shipping outside of the EU we will use DHL international parcel service to minimize your waiting time. Please understand that also DHL can sometimes take a little bit longer than expected. Shipping large furniture
We generally ship large and particularly heavy items on pallets via the freight forwarder DB Schenker.
Of course, you can arrange a desired delivery date with the shipping company.
To deliver your order as quickly as possible, Please remember to provide a current email address and telephone number (preferably mobile) where the shipping company can reach you!
Shipping small items
We offer worldwide shipping (also to German islands).

Since 2015, we, as a small family business based in the motorcycle town of Zschopau in the Ore Mountains, have been offering our customers unusual and unique furnishings.
