From Mattel, this is Barbie's friend Midge made in 1964.   Midge has red hair, blue eyes and a sprinkle of freckles on her cheeks.  Body parts are intact (no broken fingers) except for two small marks on the right cheek of the doll's face and a small rough spot on the upper left arm.  Eyes are painted on and do not open/close.

Doll measures 11" and weighs 3.9 ounces without clothing.  The upper inner left thigh is marked with "225 50" and the left buttock is marked with "6 4".  The inside of the upper left arm is marked with "N N z 6"; the inside of the right upper arm is marked with "777 SN".  The underside of the right foot is marked "Japan".

The doll is clothed in an ankle-length, multicolor dress trimmed in lace; this dress was made by the original owner's grandmother.  No other items of clothing or shoes are included.
