The white part of this lace is Nottingham machine-made lace. Someone has added strip of brown Schiffli lace to the edges - made on a Schiffli machine. Maybe 1920s.. The antique trim is a large scale lace in a floral pattern. Each end has some lace circle trim. It could be used as a valance or trim on a garment. The antique lace measures 74" long by 9" wide.
CONDITION: Age staining, a couple of breaks but overall good condition. I believe it could be soaked and made almost white.
