Rare pair of Vintage ATA Fashions of Israel Bell Bottom Pants from the 1960s-1970s.

Most of the ATA tags are in Hebrew & do not have the English lettering.  ATA is the original Israeli-born, clothing brand, featuring what was then described as ‘workers attire’ or what America would refer to as 'school uniform,' reflective of the fashion of early Israeli settlers.  ATA rendered three symbols that are engraved on Israeli cultural memory: the pride in being a worker, the struggle of workers to retain to their workplace, and work clothes. The first run of the brand was between 1934-1986; (this is where these pants fit in).  The ATA brand has been revived almost 30 years later today in Tel Aviv.  They are even staying w/some of the same styles as the first company had; while, others have been modernized for todays styles.  

This pair is of purple Corduroy. They feature a high waist, semi-wide legs w/a wide 10" across hem, & a matching purple Nylon Zipper with a chrome snap  at waist.  .  100% Cotton.  Dry Clean Only.   Though these are marked 12, please see measurements as the old size is smaller.
