ALAVIS ™ Triple Blend Extra Strong contains a combination of chondroprotective substances (glucosamine sulfate and chondroitin sulfate), MSM and Collyss and Cartidyss branded collagen.

ALAVIS ™ Triple Blend Extra Strong  is suitable for regeneration of the locomotor system, especially for preventive feeding in foals and horses in work and athletic loads.

Composition:

Glucosamine Sulfate, Chondroitin Sulfate, MSM, Collyss® and Cartidyss®

Glucosamine sulfate and chondroitin sulfate form a natural component of articular cartilage and synovial fluid. Chondroitin sulfate has an outstanding ability to bind water in the tissue. It ensures proper functioning of the cartilage, its strength, flexibility and durability. The mechanism of action of these two substances is common and consists of a chondroprotective (cartilage-protecting) action. The effect involves the regeneration of joint cartilage and tissues, improving mobility, and thus positively influencing the health condition of the animal.

Methylsulfonylmethane - MSM - is a natural substance containing organically bound sulfur, which is involved in the collagen production process, reinforces the ligaments and tendons, acts relaxing and regenerating on the muscles. MSM not only contributes to the reduction of joint pain, but also thanks to its antioxidant and detoxication effects for the removal of damaged tissue. It is advisable to use MSM in post-traumatic and post-operative conditions to suppress pain, where better wound healing was found. MSM has an analgesic, anti-inflammatory, vasodilating and antiedematous effect. It is also used to remove muscle pains, muscle cramps and tendon pains.

Collyss ® - Type I collagen in the highest quality - occurs in heavily loaded structures such as tendons and cartilage. It is tough and therefore very important for the strength of the tendons and hence for the strengthening of the locomotive apparatus. This collagen also occurs in bones and skin. Collagen type I Collyss® is a patent-made, purified collagen hydrolyzate derived from marine fish cartilage.

Cartidyss ® - Type II collagen in the highest quality - maintains cartilage shape and prevents its deformation. Type II collagen is part of hyaline and elastic cartilage and is resistant to compression. Cartidyss® is a purified collagen hydrolyzate obtained from cartilage of skins .
