1950s FOSTA Plastic Recipe Box

with 3D Chef with White Hat, Head and Face


Friendly looking guy that stores your recipes on 3 1/2" x 5" Standard Recipe Cards

Some of the original recipes "as found"  are included

The box measures 5 3/8" wide x 3 3/4" tall x 3 1/2" deep (including the chef)

The outside of the box is now beige or tan but used to be a pepto-bismol pink!

It's a great Mid-Century piece and would make an absolutely unique gift for someone that enjoys cooking


CONDITION:

Great vintage condition for the box with no cracks or repairs, there is a thin scratch (pictured) on one side

The 3D Chef's face or head has had some paint loss. The face and hat do not have any chip or nicks

Hinges work well with smooth movement and lid stays open as designed
