2 VTG Herend Hungary Teacups and Saucers Fruit and Flowers Hand Painted #1726.

These porcelain Herend of Hungary, teacups and saucers (4 pieces), were entirely and beautifully hand painted, featuring vividly colored and detailed fruits and flowers; whimsical, tiny insects on the inside of the cups and underside of the saucers; green handles; gilt trim and delicately embossed basketweave design around the borders. Both the sets are in excellent, pre-owned condition and are free of any repairs, chips, scratches or cracks. Please see photos for more detail on their condition. This pattern was introduced by Herend in 1930. It is backstamped "Herend Hungary Handpainted" with hand painted pattern codes: 1726/BFR "; (embossed numbers). These sets were made between 1960 and 1970.
