A collectible, original, pre 1907 Bryant Tournier fatboy light socket with paddle switch and porcelain ceiling mount. Prior to 1907 Bryant used a curved top paddle switch with curved/arched Bryant logo on the paddle, such as you see in the photos. In 1907 Bryant switched to a straight sided paddle and logo. This socket also has the two-screw strap attachment in the shell, a late 1800s invention, and a mica insulator insert. The black paper cap and insulator are original, and are in good condition—they aren't crispy, which is very unusual. The brass cap has the "plastic" screw-in piece and a set screw.

Shell is marked "Edison Patented 250V 50CP" (for candle power).

The copper socket has typical stress cracks, shown in photos.

Sockets such as this one are hard to find in decent condition, and very tough to find with the insulator in good condition. This one would make a fine addition to a collection, or installed in an antique light for authenticity.
