1870 Book: Religious Care and Exercise of the Teachers of Waltham Abbey School
The original writing was from 1697 in London and was reprinted in 1797, and this is another reprint, apparently put out by the Trustees of Green Farm in 1870
Signed by "one of the Trustees of Green Farm" on one of the front pages, 1870, inscribed to his nephew and niece (see photo)
The story is "An account of a Divine Visitation and Blessing Attending the Religious Care and Exercise of the Teachers of Waltham Abbey School; with the Gracious Dealings of the Almighty towards some others in tender Years" - it has to do with how a group of children felt the power of the Lord during a Quaker service in 1697, in London
Size: about 8.25 x 5.5 inches (about 21 cm x 14 cm)
Condition: Very good, small amount of shelf wear on corners; no tears, folds or writing (except for the inscription in the front); pages are somewhat yellowed
