Waldorf Astoria Hotel Goodyear Banquet Menu & Musical Program 1954 Mimi Benzell
A very special menu and program from the American Trucking Association Official Luncheon at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City, sponsored by Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, and held on October 27, 1954. There are 8 pages inside a yellow cover and held together with a yellow and blue tassel. Each item on the menu is described in detail along with the history of other famous dinners at which the same dish was served. For example the Filet of Beef Perigourdine, Crown of Puree of California Asparagus with Creamed Baby Mushrooms had been served at the Dinner in honor of General John F Pershing by the Mayor's Reception Committee of The City of New York on September 10, 1919.
The Musical Program is for Great Moments of Broadway Musicals and starred Mimi Benzell, Felix Knight, Ann Crowley, Andrew Gainey and Maggi Nelson. There is a detailed Biography for each of the performers. In very fine condition, measures about 6 1/4" x 8 1/4" when closed.
