I purchased this lovely cast metal or iron napkin or letter holder years ago from a friend who collects primitive and primitive style items.  I used it for years to hold napkins, but it would be great for holding letters on a desk also.  Estimating the age about 30 years old.  It has cherub/angels at each end and an ornate design, with openings on each side for letters or napkins.
