VTG Handmade Afghan Crochet Throw Blanket Granny Core Blue Fringe Tassel 80 x 55

This was handmade by a friend of the family for my grandma many years ago. I am not sure of the exact time but I remember it at my grandma's house as a little kid and I am vintage by today's standards.

It is either crocheted or hand knit and a solid sea blue. It looks like a different shade of blue was used in the middle and on one edge.  It has beautiful hand tied fringe tassels on the top & bottom that are about 5" long.

Without the tassels the Afghan is 70" long. Pictures were taken on a Queen size bed.
