Western Red Birch

An excellent choice for lush, waterside environments where the soil remains reliably moist. Red Birch is easily recognizable by its smooth, shiny, reddish-brown bark with white horizontal streaks.

Can serve as a multi-stemmed shrub that will grow 10 -15’ high, or a multi-trunked tree standing 40 – 50’ with a wide, asymmetrical, and open crown.
