This is a very rare  pop down automatic toaster, model 280. Made by Penn-Air before they were Delta. It is believed to be from the 1940s. Made of aircraft aluminum in Pennsylvania, USA. It is 110-120 Volt, 940 Watt. It measures 7 OE" in width x 8" in length x 8 OE" in height.  It weighs 5 lbs, 4 oz. All original.

It is tested and is not working. It will most likely need some kind of repair to be safely used, or the toaster would make a great display piece!  See all photos. Normal signs of use and wear and tear from age.
