Oil painting looks good. Painting is oil on canvas. Please note that I don't see the signature. But on the back it says " Joseph H. Forsyth. Dated 1895, original frame. South Ynez Valley.

All that is written on a piece of cardboard attached to the back. Please note that frame has lots of cracks, dark spots from age. But painting itself looks very nice. Painting is definitely original. Frame, paint, patina, all look legit.
