This is an EXQUISITELY DETAILED ESTATE COCKTAIL RING that was handmade in the EDWARDIAN to ART DECO style from PLATINUM. The ring is centrally BEZEL-SET with 1 NATURAL FULL OPAL (not a doublet) that is a MARQUISE SHAPE measuring close to 18 x 4.5 mm. The opal is primarily BLUE + GREEN with flashes of ORANGE and it is set in an 18k yellow gold bezel.
The ring is detailed with 70 ROUNDISH OLD MINE CUT CUT DIAMONDS of F-G-H color in the SI clarity range that weigh approx. 1.12 ctw. These diamonds are white & sparkly and without black carbon inclusions. The largest diamond is approx. .09 ct.
The head of the ring measures 1” long and the lower gallery has a finely detailed web-like design. The ring size is an 8.25 and the total weight is 7.1 grams. THIS RING IS JUST STUNNING ALL THE WAY AROUND...FINEST QUALITY & CONDITION with BEAUTIFUL COLOR! I don't come across very many opal rings, so don't miss this one!
