Regarding the comics industry recent reholder scandal / scam, please note that all books I sell were submitted directly by me to CGC at various comic conventions (as well as the occasional private signing event). I do not buy already graded books and then resell them. So every CGC item I have for sale was graded by CGC and then came directly to me and not through another dealer. Please further note that photos, prints, and original art sketches (that are not on actual comic books but are rather just on sketch paper or the like? i.e. anything certified by CGC that does not have a grade, are not searchable on their site by the serial number. Only graded comics and magazines - items with grades - are searchable by serial number. However, for such items not searchable on their site, you can call CGC Customer Service and they can verify the item authentication over the phone.
Signed by hand by eleven cast/crew members of Fox’s hit series The Orville, this promotional poster was given to the few lucky participants at the Dark Horse Comics in-booth signing event held at the 2019 San Diego Comic Con. The eleven autographs include series executive producers Brannon Braga and Jon Cassar as well as writer David A. Goodman, Adrianne Palicki (Commander Kelly Grayson), Penny Johnson Jerald (Dr. Claire Finn), Scott Grimes (Lt. Gordon Malloy), Peter Macon (Lt. Commander Bortus), Jessica Szohr (Lt. Talla Keyali), J. Lee (Lt Comdr. John LaMarr), Mark Jackson (Isaac), and Chad L. Coleman (Klyden)… please note- it is not autographed by Seth McFarlane (he did not attend the signing). Best of all, it is certified authentic by CGC. With CGC’s Signature Series, a certified witness actually observes the signing/sketching and then immediately takes possession of the collectible so there is no chance for the real autograph/sketch being replaced or substituted. The poster, which measures 11 by 17 inches, is in new and undisplayed condition and will be shipped with the utmost care. It is encapsulated in a soft-plastic protective sleeve by CGC, including their Yellow Label at the top. Photo showing the entire image and two scans made by scanner that shows a more clear image (my scanner is not large enough to get the entire image and label at one time).
